Buddy finished two weeks of swimming lessons at Maley's this past week. I think he had a good time. He keeps saying, "no swimming lessons today, maybe Saturday." The first week, he was fearless. The second week, he cried two days - the entire time. But after each lesson, he would say, "do again." These pictures were from the last day of lessons. I bribed him not to cry and it worked. We got chocolate covered donuts with sprinkles after swimming. That was the first time I've ever bribed Buddy. I'm sure it won't be the last.

Abby's Birthday Party
We went to an Olympic birthday party for our friend, Abby, today. Buddy was unsure at first - just like usual. Today he had Maw with him to help him along. I'm not really used to having a little boy like that. Bo doesn't care if he knows anybody or not. He has always been a social butterfly. We all had a great time. Buddy made a basketball friend that was so sweet to him. After the party, I needed to get my Sal and Mookie's fix. On the way to S&M, the boys decided they wanted Primos. So off to Primos we went and then onto Bo's T-ball game. It's Saturday night. Will's on call. I'm alone and craving S&M. If they delivered, I would order it right now! Here are pics from the party!

Uncle Jason's Church Clothes
My mother gave me one of Jason's outfits when he was a little boy. Buddy wore it to Church today and looked almost as handsome as Uncle Jason did when he was a baby! I had the cutest, cutest little brother (you are still pretty cute, Jason). If you knew me then, you know I took such good care of my baby brother. I prayed and prayed for a brother - not a sister. Every star I wished on was for a brother. God gave us Jason on May 9, 1988. I can't believe it has been twenty years! It was a Monday at 10:30 in the morning. Mom checked me out of school and when we got home, he was waiting on the porch. I had to go back to school after we ate lunch, so I took the polaroid picture of us to show my teachers my new little brother. That afternoon, we went to Williams Brothers and bought Jason two new pairs of shoes. I rocked him to sleep that night while we all watched a Rocky movie and he slept in the port-a-crib outside my bedroom door. Seeing this old picture just brought back memories of little Jason. I love you, Jason!

Playing with Cousins
Thursday, the Carters came to spend the night with us. Fran came up from Brookhaven with the children. Everyone had so much fun playing together! We can't wait to see the Massengills again soon!

Bo's End of the Year Program
Bo had his program at JA on Thursday. He did not sing AT ALL! For someone with so much personality, it was not really what I expected. I guess he takes after me, not Will. You know Will loves to be the center of attention!

Friday Night Bowling
Friday night we went with the Anesthesia Department from UMC to the Larwil Lanes Bowling Alley. The boys had a great time. I had fun watching them. It took nearly two hours for our boys and two other little girls bowl one game. Bo even bowled a strike or two! We dined on burgers and chicken wings!

Sunday Clothes
I didn't get any good pictures of the boys on Easter. These outfits came in from Daisies and Doodlebugs this week. I love them! Bo has had some tantrums about wearing "Church" clothes. I told him that Sundays were my day and he would wear church clothes and shoes. He didn't argue with me today. I know it won't be too long until he wears a Polo and khakis. For now, he is still my little boy. Buddy's outfit is one of my favorites - ever - from Daisies. Who says boys' clothes are no fun? We didn't get home from Church today until 12:30, so the boys weren't too into pictures. This was the best I could do! Fake smiles and all!
