My Sweet Buddy

"When I'm 34, I'll still call you Momma. When I'm 54, you'll still call me baby." Makes me want to cry! Will he always be that sweet?

MSU Football

Celebrating the October and November birthdays!

Pumpkin Palooza

Terrible picture of Bo. He was not interested in me taking pictures. Maybe next weekend I'll get some better pictures of him. Buddy was the cutest Cat in the Hat ever. He said he was tired of everybody wookin at him.

Can somebody help me. Why does my camera focus on objects in the back and not the front??
Buddy might have been cute, but Bo was one cool pirate!

Fall Soccer

He just scored. Plenty of self confidence.

Buddy

I don't have a baby book for Buddy. Terrible I know. I regret it. So I want to remember all the funny things that Buddy says. He doesn't mean to be funny. Just the little things he says are so darn cute. I hope I don't leave any out and if I do, I'll just add to this list! When you read this, remember that he says his Rs like most three year olds and he talks with his eyes and lots of facial expressions.

Rice Krispy Treats - Rice Christmas Trees

Hershey Kisses - Percy Kisses (he had a little girl in his class last year named Percy)

On a foggy day, "It sure it froggy out here."

Washing his hands, "I have to push my sneeze up."

Where does it hurt? "On my fork head."

Substitute teacher Miss Nancy - Miss Fancy

"My cough hurts." I ask, "Do you want Daddy to look at it?" He says, "No. I'll just keep it in there."

Bionicles (a toy made by legos) - Veronicles (there is a little girl in his class named Veronica)

"What in the whole wide world?"

Saturday on the River

Long time, no post. Sorry, Mimi!

Several weeks ago, we went to the river with some friend and had a ball. I've never like boats, and I planned to sit at the river house all day and just let everyone take turns on the boat. I would be the good momma who watched after all the kids (there were 10 of them and 6 adults) at the house. As it turned out, there were two boats and there was no way that I would be able sit at the house. Funny thing, I love boats, as long as they are moving and I can get off any time I want! Now, I'm asking Will for a a boat and a river house! HA! The boys had a BLAST! Buddy was unsure at first, but was the last one out of the water that night! These pictures are out of order, but you can see how much fun we had. The little boys tubing.

Bo and Buddy swimming at night.

Buddy hanging in there with the big kids.

Bo wasn't quite sure about tubing, but he gave in to peer pressure and had a blast.

First Day of School

The boys have settled into their new schools and are doing great. They both have wonderful teachers and I am so thankful for that. I have never seen a kindergarten teacher with so much energy so I know she can handle my Bo. He seems to love it. Buddy has made lots of friends in his class and loves to go to school.

Fishing Party

Last week, we made a trip back to Jackson for a fishing birthday party. The boys had a blast as usual. Here a few pics from the day.

Scarlett's catch

Bo caught the first fish!
Just being silly. Bo wouldn't get in the picture with that boy in the Ole Miss hat.

Neshoba County Fair

What a week! As the boys get older, the more fun we have! Here are pictures from the week! Loving a caramel apple from the midway
Jumping!
On the last day, we talked the carnival worker into letting Buddy ride the bumper cars. He was too little, but the man was sweet and let him ride. Earlier in the week, they wouldn't let him.
So he was so excited and it was his favorite ride.

Bumper Cars
Playing Games. We decided next year we would take the boys to Wal Mart and buy them anything they wanted. Our thinking is that it might be cheaper than a week of playing games!
The ONE ride Bo will ride.
Buddy followed Bo and Jake up this climbing ride. Once he got to the swinging bridge, he had a MELT DOWN and would not go across. A sweet lady sent her little girl in to try to get him to go across. No luck. I sent Bo back in and told him to drag him, pull him, or push him across no matter what it took. No luck. I had to go in myself and get him. Let me tell you, this thing was not made for people my size.
