Another Maniacs Game

Saturday, Bo had his second T-Ball game. He is rather social on the field - especially towards the end of the game. I think he would rather talk to his friends or throw his hat around than play ball. He had a great time!

Miss. State vs. Ole Miss

Tuesday night, we took the boys to the Governor's Cup at Trustmark park. Miss. State won and we all had fun. The boys weren't that interested in the game. Bo liked the jumpolines and Buddy just liked watching Bo jump.

Picnic in the Park

Last Sunday night, we went to Picnic in the Park at Laurel Park. It was so much fun, just one of the many things I love about our neighborhood. There was a two man band (bluegrass) and Pizza Shack Pizza. For dessert, Basil's iced cookies. The band even played a song written by Bo Carter, the blues singer. Here are some pictures from that night. We were the last people to leave the park.

Going Private

I have decided to set my blog to private this week. I just read another mother's blog (http://reformedgrits.typepad.com/reformed_grits/2008/04/im-a-safety-gir.html) and I decided to be proactive in this. I do post a lot of my boys pictures with their names. I have also posted pictures of friends, so I just want to be safe since we are not sure who all out there can read this blog. Please give me your email address so that I can add you to my list before I set this to private. Thanks!!

T-Ball, Birthday Party, Soccer . . . then BED!!

Whew! What a day! Will is in New Orleans this weekend. He said he had a meeting, but everytime I talk to him, I hear Bourbon Street in the background! That's okay. We had a great day today! Bo had his first T-ball game today. Both the Maniacs and whoever we played won! From there, we went to Jake's birthday party at Pump it Up. Happy Birthday Jake. I don't have any pictures from the party, but hopefully I can steal some from Scarlett. We ran home for a quick 30 minute nap and then on to our last soccer game of the season. I talked the the boys into renting Enchanted tonight. So we were all in our pajamas by 5 o'clock. Dinner (blueberry pancakes) was finished by 5:45 and the movie started immediately. I think all three of us wanted to go to sleep during the movie. The boys were asleep by 7:30 and so here I am blogging. Enjoy the pictures!

Playing at Belhaven

We went to the fountain at Belhaven College on day this week with a couple of our friends. These are pictures from our outing!

A Weekend for the Boys

The boys had a full weekend. Bo had a soccer tournament on Saturday. He also had t-ball practice right after soccer. Buddy had just as much fun as Bo at both soccer and t-ball. Buddy made lots of new friends all day on Saturday. I think he may be as social as Bo! At one point, Bo wanted to leave the t-ball field to go play with Buddy and his friends. We went home and everyone took a nap. After naptime, it was time to go fishing. We went to the Lester's farm in Canton to fish and eat supper. What more could little boys want in a Saturday! Bo at bat.

Everyone received the "Best Kicker" award (according to Bo). Bo receiving his soccer medal from Coach David.

The Daddys and their children in the boat. (Don't worry, they were right by the shore)

Drake and Bo fishing on the pier.

Buddy casting his rod. He did not like his life jacket AT ALL!! A few weeks ago, mom and I took the boys to have spring pictures taken by a lake. All that Buddy wanted to do was go swimming. I did not want to take any chances. He's not scared!
