Atlanta Road Trip

Last week, Bo and I headed to Atlanta for a road trip. We had a blast. It was so much fun to take a little vacation - just the two of us. Will was in New Jersey for a course and Buddy stayed with the Carters in Tupelo. Will is finally in Starkville FOR GOOD and we are two. After a month of staying with friends in Jackson and family in Philly and Tupelo, we are thrilled to be together again! This was taken by the Braves photographer. I had to force Bo to turn around and smile.
That's why he is smiling like that while I am holding him so he won't turn around.
Bo really wasn't interested in letting me take pictures of him during our whole trip so
I am kind of disappointed in the quality of our pictres. As you can tell, we had fun.

Playing baseball with a bunch of other kids during the game.

Playing at the Olympic Centennial Park

Playing at the Georgia Aquarium
The aquarium was wonderful, but this was our first stop in Atlanta. I think he would have had more fun with Buddy. He really didn't know what to do without him.
We'll be sure to take Buddy next time.
Playing at the Children's Museum of Atlanta.

He loved sampling all of the Cokes at the Coke Museum.

Blowing bubbles at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. We LOVED this museum. It was beautiful and very interesting. This museum was not downtown but in Druid Hills. After fighting crowds at all of the downtown museums, we thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Missy-that's so sweet! I love 1 on 1 time with the kids. So happy that you're all under 1 roof again and getting settled. Sorry to have missed your going away party. We miss ya'll so much! Let us know when you're going to be in town again. Congrats to Will on all of his achievements! We always knew he would be the best Doctor around. Starkville is lucky to have him! Take care. So fun...we are going to ATL for the 4th. We are planning on going to the aquarium and the coke museum, probably along with 1/2 of the SE region. Oh well, nothing like fighting some crowds to see a shark!
