MSU Game Day

You can't tell it from the pictures, but we weren't the only ones at the ballgame on Saturday. I didn't do a good job of capturing all of the tailgates, people, food, and the complete atmosphere of the game. I guess that is why I called my blog, "The Carter Boys." As usual, we had a great time. Saunders picked out the boys' new jerseys from The Lodge on Saturday. He did a great job. Buddy has his on again today. He usually likes to wear his Eli Manning jersey all the time, but today he saw Bulldog jersey and that is what he chose to wear. The poor thing usually has to wear hand-me-downs, but Bo needed a new jersey and Bo's old jersey was just a little too worn out for Buddy to wear so he got a new one! Will was in a great mood since we won and Ole Miss lost. This time next year will be so much fun when we only have to drive a couple of miles to our house in Starkville vs. two hours! We can't wait!

Buddy's First Day of School

Buddy started school on Tuesday. He was SO EXCITED!!! After watching Bo go to school everyday, it was his turn. He had a great time. I asked him what he did at school. He said he colored, played, and went to time out. I asked him why he had to go to time out. He said, "cause I wanted to." Who knows. Maybe one day, it was be pretty outside and I can get a better picture of my boys going to school.

Dove Hunt

We had a great time hunting at the Lesters' Farm today. Will and Bo left Saturday to go to the farm. Buddy, Daddy, and I went to Tupelo on Saturday to run in a 14.2 mile run Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m. We had a great time at the run. Buddy had fun playing with his cousins in Tupelo and Bo had a great time spending the weekend at the farm. They fished, swam in the lake, hunted, and rode lots of riding toys. We are all worn out. Bo and Will got up at six and headed for the dove field. Buddy and I slept in. While Buddy was in bed this morning, everytime a gun would go off, he would say, "who's that knocking on my door?" I guess the gun shots kind of sounded like a knock. I was so tired of getting up so early yesterday, I just kept sleeping. There were eight children who slept at the cabin last night. What a crew! They all did great though! Everyone left at lunch to try to get home before the bad weather. Thank goodness our weather has not been too bad so far. Here are a few too many pictures. Have you ever seen so many cute kids in camo?

Class Picnic

Friday, we had a picnic for Bo's class at Parham Bridges Park. I didn't do a good job of getting pictures. Bo wasn't interested in me taking pictures so here are all the pictures I took. It looks like we were the only ones at the park, but we weren't. It was fun and he has a very sweet class!
