Patriotic Day at JA

Jackson Academy celebrated Patriotic Day Friday. The children did not have to wear their uniforms and we had to make a hat for Bo to wear for the parade.

Wonderful Weekend

My daddy and I went to New Orleans this weekend to run in the Mardi Gras Marathon. This was the second year we ran this marathon. Last year, I finished before my dad. This year was different. He beat me. We had a great time! I'm pretty lucky to have a wonderful daddy to run with. This was our sixth marathon together. Will went with us and drove us home after the race. My sweet mom took care of the boys while we were gone. When we got home Sunday afternoon, the smell of fried chicken filled the house. Thanks Mom! The boys decorated my birthday cake with sprinkles and candy letters! Yummy!!!

Eight Days and Counting

The boys have had the flu all week. Today is day eight and still counting. Bo started getting sick last Sunday and Buddy started on Tuesday. I took this picture on Friday at 5:00. Bo is still in his pajamas. It was just one of many days this week that he did not want to get dressed. I don't think I brushed their hair yet for this picture.

Here is Buddy in his True Religion jeans. He stops traffic in these cuties. I purchased these on ebay. He desparately needs a new pair - these are getting a little too tight and too short. Will won't let me pay retail but does agree I have to find him some new ones, so I continue to bid on them on ebay. I just haven't won yet!

Bo playing football in our yard.

We went outside to play today for a little bit. The boys started coughing immediately so our playtime was short. It turned out to be a beautiful day after the storm last night.
